Log Collection Utility for the Mondopad

  1. Exit the Mondopad shell.
  2. On the left side of the screen you will find “Mondopad Log Collection Utility”. Double click on it.
  3. Click on the Mondopad image as instructed by the application. It can take several minutes to collect up all the various logs.
  4. When it’s finished, the application will display the below window. Click the close button.
  5. The logs will be zipped up and placed in a folder on the desktop labeled “Mondopad Logs”

 

Log Collection for the 121 Dialer

To send logs to InFocus with-in the 121 app. 

  1. Click on the settings button in the upper right of the app.
  2. Click on feedback on the left pane when it slides out.

 

  1. Fill out the feedback form with details about the problem as well as any ticket/case number that may already be associated with this issue.
  2. Make sure attach log-files is set to yes, and click submit.

If you need to directly access the 121 app logs manually use the paths listed below.  The logs are stored in different locations depending if you have an Apple computer or a PC. 

Windows:

  1. Use windows explorer to browse to this location.

 

%temp%\Infocus\WebCommunicator\MediaEngineDebugLogs\

 

  1. Copy the logs from this location.

OSX:

  1. Browse to this location.

 

~/Library/Logs/Infocus/WebCommunicator/MediaEngineDebugLogs

 

  1. Copy the logs from this location.

Download the logs of the MVP100

 

To get to this web page where you can get logs, you will need the IP address of your phone as well as a web browser open on a computer connected to the same network as the phone.  

  1. To find out the IP address of your phone, touch the settings button (The symbol next to the button looks like a gear) on the phone. This will display the STATUS screen You will see the IP address listed at the bottom of the System section.
  2. Type the IP address in the format shown below, replacing the Xs with the actual IP address.

If you successfully connect to the ConX phone’s web service, you will likely see a page similar to this.

3. Don’t worry, this is not a problem. Just click “Proceed to (IP address)”. You will then be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username is ‘admin’, and the default password is ‘4321’. After entering your credentials click OK and you will be logged in to the phone’s web page.
4. On the Webpage navigate to the system tab. Inside the system tab you will see a subsection called advanced. This is where the download logs button can be found. Clicking the button will download a .zip file of the logs to your computer.
