An interactive display consists of two distinct devices: a monitor and a touch sensor.
The monitor is just like any other computer monitor. It has Inputs for audio and video, which can be connected with direct cables or with Adapters or Extensions. There is usually an audio output to allow the use of sound bars or speaker systems, and some models feature a video output. Check the device’s manual or user guide for details on all available connectivity options.
The touch sensor is integrated into the physical structure of the monitor, but its connection and function is independent. The audio/video connections on the monitor will not provide a computer with any connection to the touch sensor. To enable touch interaction, the computer must also be connected to the touch sensor in addition to the monitor. InFocus interactive displays use a specific USB port for this connection. Check the device’s manual or user guide to identify the correct connection to enable touch interaction.
Most InFocus interactive displays are compatible with Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS. iOS and iPadOS do not support external touch screens. Android may or may not support external touch screens. Check the product information page of the specific model of interactive display for details on OS support.
ChromeOS does not require a driver.
Windows may or may not require a driver. Check the product information page of the specific model of interactive display for details.
macOS requires a driver. Check the product information page of the specific model of interactive display for details.
